In 2019, CNN reimagined the traditional Upfront model.
In addition to hosting a single, large-scale presentation and asking advertisers to come to them, CNN flipped the script—bringing its top on-air talent, programming leaders, and brand storytelling directly into the offices of major advertising agencies.
The goal: Create an immersive, high-impact, one-day experience that strengthened relationships, showcased premium content, and positioned CNN as an innovative media partner.
